Glass Lamp Institute
Spiritual Transformation in Action
About Glass Lamp Institute
At Glass Lamp Institute, we believe in profound connection and meaningful transformation. Our purpose is simple yet profound: to empower individuals to connect directly with the Quran through the practice of Tadabbur, deep reflection, and contemplation.
-
We envision a world where true transformation is achieved by returning all of our affairs to Allah and His Messenger ﷺ. By embracing this divine guidance, we believe that individuals can lead lives of purpose, clarity, and spiritual fulfillment.
-
Our mission at the Glass Lamp Institute is centered around four core pillars:
Unlocking the Heart: We guide you on a journey to open your heart to the wisdom and beauty of the Quran. By unlocking your heart, you can experience the Quran’s messages in a deeply personal and transformative way.
Getting to Know the Quran: We offer courses and resources designed to help you understand the Quran intimately. Through structured learning and guided Tadabbur, you will gain a comprehensive knowledge of the Quran that goes beyond surface-level reading.
Guided by the Quran in All Affairs: We strive to help you integrate the teachings of the Quran into every aspect of your life. By aligning your actions, decisions, and values with the Quranic principles, you can navigate life’s challenges with wisdom and faith.
Lifelong Companionship with Shared Purpose and Values (Suhba Group): We foster a community of like-minded individuals who share your dedication to living a Quran-guided life. Through our Suhba groups, you will build lifelong relationships with companions who support and inspire you on your spiritual journey.
At Glass Lamp Institute, the journey begins with the self and culminates in ‘Umran—the cultivation of lives, families, communities, and institutions guided by revelation.
“Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp, the lamp is within glass, the glass as if it were a pearly [white] star lit from [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire. Light upon light. Allah guides to His light whom He wills. And Allah presents examples for the people, and Allah is Knowing of all things.”
— Surah An-Nur, 24:35
